All-inclusive Pricing

Over the last few years, we've had the honor of hosting the most wonderful clients from around the world!

Our clients chose us because they care - and we care deeply about them. When they praise us we feel proud. And when they give us advice, we listen!

We've been advised to simplify the climbing experience, especially when it comes to expenses such as tipping, drinks, meals and laundry.

bullet

Carrying $150-$200 to the mountain in small bills for tipping is an inconvenience.

bullet

It is a hassle to figure out the tipping system at hotels/lodges. Some have tip boxes, some don't. Sometimes you tip the butler but not the waiter. Sometimes you tip the porter but not the butler.

bullet

How much to tip is another problem. Do you tip the driver who transfers you to/from the airport? Do you tip the driver to/from the mountain? How much do you tip the  driver/guide?

bullet

Driving around trying to find an ATM or exchange facility is a waste of precious time.

bullet

Finding a place to accept large bills in exchange for smaller bills is almost impossible.

bullet

Include 3 meals a day. Having to plan for a meal that's not included can complicate matters and lead to either going hungry or finding bad food!

bullet

Laundry can be expensive and inconvenient when credit cards are not accepted (or hit with a 5-10% surcharge).

bullet

Drinks are always confusing. Sometimes sodas are free. Sometimes not. Sometimes house wines are included. Sometimes some beers are included. Is there a way to clearly distinguish between free drinks and the rest?

YES! Starting in 2006, we are the FIRST company to offer an ALL-INCLUSIVE rate plans for our climbs!

In phase 1, our Platinum option clients can enjoy a true hassle-free climb! Phase 1 is now available and our Platinum clients can book their all-inclusive trips today!

How does it work? Frequently asked questions!

How will I know that the porters receive good tips if I don't handle the money myself?

Upon signup, you will receive a tipping guideline from us. This is the amount of money that the porters will receive on your behalf. On the last day of your climb, our guides will have the money at Mweka gate where you can assist with the distribution of the tips. At that time you can see the cash and you will know exactly how much each member of the mountain team gets! It is an open procedure to avoid misunderstandings!

We tip our teams very well. Rest assured that you "contribution" will be plenty and that the team will be very happy with your generosity.

What is the bar /room service procedure at the hotels/lodges?

Very simple! Simply sign your bills to your room! At checkout, we will settle your bill!

What is the tipping procedure at the hotel/lodges?

This can get rather complicated as each lodge/hotel has different suggestions. Fortunately, this is not your problem anymore!

In some cases we will give you cash to distribute to staff members as you wish as per our tipping guideline. Many times your driver/guide will place a tip on your behalf in the staff tip boxes at the end of your stay. This will be done with your cooperation so you can see how much money was distributed! We try to tip well so the hotel/lodge staff always look forward to welcoming us and our clients to their establishments. This ensures that you have a wonderful and carefree stay!
