Henry Stedman, in excellent book, "Kilimanjaro - A trekking guide to Africa's highest mountain", writes:

"...remember, you are putting your life into his (the guide's ) hands for the next 5 or 6 days, and his decisions could determine whether you come down with a gold certificate or on a stretcher. It's not just his talent on the mountain that needs to be tested either. You need to make sure that you can get along with him..."

Our clients all agree. Wilbert is one of the best!

About Wilbert

Wilbert Godfrey Mollel comes from the famous tribe of the Maasai, in Northern Tanzania. This is the only Tribe still living in the Ngorongoro Crater in their traditional lifestyle.

Wilbert is famous on Mount Kilimanjaro as the "KiliWarrior" since he was born in the Ngorongoro Crater highlands.

He and his family moved to Arusha to further their education. Wilbert is very close to his family. Since he lost his dad a few years ago, most of his profits go towards helping with the education of his brothers and beautiful sister.
